Our recommendation is that when creating, editing, and publishing Articulate Storyline courses, be sure you're working on your local hard drive (typically your C: drive). Working on a network drive or a USB drive can cause erratic behavior, such as file corruption, an inability to save changes, and loss of resources.
Are you following the instructions to install Storyline as shown here? Once the installer is downloaded, you can specify where you want the installation to go.

Hi Leslie,
I do want the installation on my harddrive. I don't want it to be on the C: partition but on the D: partition.
How do I manage that if I do not get the question where to install?
