Chaning shape default fill
Jul 18, 2012
I've made a few screen recordings of Office 2013 with the Articulate Storyline demo version. I've spent quite a while now figuring out how default shapes or fill would work.
Im coming from Captivate 5.5 so I am used to Themes (saves oceans of time).
I followed the tutorial and managed to make a change to my Gradient fill of a caption (one that was enabled by the screen recording). But how do I do it for all captions? I tried to set Default shape, but it didn't help. Then I tried something with altering the Colors, that didn't help either.
For each shape (And theres 90) it seems that I have to spend time manipulating the colors manually to get the gradient effect I want, I can't even save my modifed shape as a new Default shape that I can pick from the Format ribbon. Or am I completely missing the obvious way to do it?

Hi S.J.,
You could copy the shape and paste where needed. That would keep your fill color and any gradient you have. Then you could change the shape itself and still retain your other properties.
I will see about making a Screenr video of what I am talking about later today and post it here when it's done.
Hope that helps,
Adrian

Hey S.J.
Did you find an answer to your question?
I am facing the same here
We have recorded a long video, I am trying to change the default caption texts and apply the changes to all the captions all over the slides...
Any answer and help on this?
( I agree i could find it in Cp 5.5!)
Help! Thanks!
