Hello, Is there a way to add Chatbots or AIML files to Storyline ?

Hi Swati and welcome to E-Learning Heroes :)

That's an interesting question and not one that I've seen here in the forums before.

I know the technology is all around us between Siri, Alexa, Cortana, etc, but I'm not familiar with how this is implemented.

Is there a way to host it? Then perhaps you could use this as a web object within Storyline.

I'd be interested to hear from others in the community if they've thought about or implemented something like this.

Including it from a different website with a web object would possibly be the easiest way to do that.
If you prefer not to embed from other websites, I think you need to find a JavaScript interpreter for the AIML files.  So far I was not able to find one, but if you are open to build your own with another technology, rivescript has a JavaScript interpreter. Since you can run JavaScript in Storyline, either by using a JavaScript trigger or by modifying the html output of Storyline, this should be a way to get you there.
If I find the time I will try it myself, A chatbot inside a course sounds like a good idea.

Hello Community!

Delighted to let you know that we have recently launched Project Disha, a chatbot powered e-learning course (in Storyline) on Prevention of Sexual Harassment (POSH).

Here's an article published in elearningindustry about this project: https://elearningindustry.com/project-disha-worlds-first-chatbot-powered-elearning-course

Wish this (Behind the scenes glimpse of what went into the making of the project) will inspire you to get started in leveraging the power of 'conversational learning' in your learning programs as well.

Please let us know if this interests you, and if you would like to know more about it...We would be happy to discuss.
