Click Interaction

Hi again,
I've created a comic strip slide with five panels. I want to start with the content hidden and have the user click each panel to show the characters and captions. The trigger is "when user clicks Panel 1 object, show Panel 1 layer." That works but when I add "when user clicks Panel 2 object, show Panel 2 layer," the content in Panel 1 disappears. How do I keep it from vanishing?
I'm stumped and I know this is an easy interaction I just don't know why I can only show one panel at a time. I did try the "change states" trigger where I set the status of the characters and captions to hidden but I have a lot of content and I ended up with many, many triggers.
Any help is appreciated!
Kris

If you go to the layer properties for each layer (the gear icon on the right side of the layer in the layers panel), uncheck the Hide Other Layers option.
Hi Kris,
I didn't take the time to test it but I am pretty sure it has to do with the layer properties.
Look if the "hide other layers" is active.
Will try it in a few minutes to see if it solves the problem...
Have a nice day!

Man, I hate it when I miss something so easy!
Thank you guys!
I wonder if using visted state would be a more elegant design, build out your panels on the base layer then add a duplicate a visited state, then delete the normal state, then when you click the content would display no need for layers.
Just seems a bit messy this way
Hi Phil,
I was able to fix it by unchecking the Hide other slide layers check box. That worked for me.
Not a problem, just thought this would be more elegant
