Closed Caption

Hi! I just finished a module with "text to speech" audio and I forgot to check off "closed caption." Now what? Do I have to re-record each slide? Obviously, my closed caption isn't appearing

In the player, I have "cc" selected. If so, this is awful. Please help me!

Hi Norma,

Oh no! Sorry to hear you forgot to check off the Generate Closed Captions textbox.

I'm not sure what you mean by "re-record" if the audio file is a text-to-speech file that was generated, but here's how to add captions:

Select the TTS audio file in the timeline.
Under Audio Tools, select Options.
Click on Add Captions.
Select Save and Close once it's been generated.

Thank you Ren. I think I did this, but didn't click save. But it is good to know for the future.

I ended up re-recording my introduction to each slice. Now I know to look at the "generate cc" box and click it.
