Thanks for reaching out here! Our team spotted this issue too, and we are looking into it now.
It does appear to only be an issue with Preview and viewing content Locally, but the published output is working fine. We'll let you know as soon as we have any info to share here!

More information: The latest release of Storyline 14612.0 doesn't show closed captioning in Preview. It will publish closed captioning.
The closed captioning in Preview was broken this week. It was working fine Monday.

I am struggling with another preview problem: One slide in a deck of 48 won't preview unless I delete a trigger.
We're always happy to dig into those problematic files with you, Sam! Especially on something with a trigger we'll need to see it and test it.
If you've already sent it along to the Support Engineers, great. If not - go ahead and upload right here.
Hey Sam. I mentioned it in another post, but just in case someone else comes across this discussion, I'll update here too!
We just released update 13 for Storyline 360! It includes new features and fixes - check them all out here.
One of the fixes addresses an issue where closed captions were not always showing in Preview or in some browsers with HTML5 output.
Here’s how you can update Storyline 360 to take advantage of everything the latest release has to offer. Let me know how you make out!
