Codes appeared at the top of the screen

Oct 10, 2013

Hello

We exported the course in the format of AICC, and then uploaded to the LMS. The following two problems appeared when we watched the course through Safari on iPad. Due to the provisions of the company, we had to watch directly through Safari, not APP.

1. When the iPad was turned to vertical screen, codes appeared at the top of the screen, please see the picture, I would like to ask how to remove these codes.

2. When we opened the course through the computer, if 10% of the original course was learned, after logging in next time, learning would be continued from where was not learned last time. However, if we watched the course on the iPad, we found this function could not be realized. After each time of logging in, we had to learn from the beginning and could not continue to learn from where was not learned last time. May I ask how to solve this problem? If the course was not uploaded to the LMS but just uploaded to the website, there would be the function of recording, we could continue to learn from where was not learned. However, if the course was uploaded to the LMS platform, the problem above would appear.

Hi David,

I haven't seen that code before and also can't really read it. If you'd like to test your course in SCORM Cloud and see if you get the same information that will help us in terms of diagnosing it. If you receive the same error message when testing there, will you connect with our Support team?

You'll want to make sure that you've enabled the Resume behavior as described here, especially the part specific to the LMS which I've copied below:

If you choose Always or Prompt, and if you'll be hosting your content in an LMS, do one of the following:

  • If your LMS supports bookmarking, mark the box labeled When running in LMS, ignore Flash cookie. The LMS will control resume behavior in this scenario.
  • If your LMS does not support bookmarking, uncheck When running in LMS, ignore Flash cookie. The Flash cookie will control resume behavior in this scenario.
