Combine Text Entry and Drag and Drop Question

Nov 23, 2016

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone has managed to combine text entry boxes with a drag and drop quiz slide?

Scenario

The person will listen to a 1 minute audio. They will need to listen for and enter key information in the text entry boxes e.g. Callers Name, DOB and a 9 digit number. Then they will use the drag and drop functionality to drag and drop the reasons for the call e.g. Update my address details, update my phone number.

Essentially I need to include the text entry values into the click event of the Submit button if that makes sense.

Check out the attachment, easier to see it in action. I've left checkboxes in to make sure my text entries are validating correctly :-)

Hi Dan,

I can´t look into you project (wrong pc without storyline) but it is possible to build that. I did a similar exercise myself. I created a text entry box in which the user inserts his text and with enter submits it to a drag box. In the drag object you only have to insert %variablename% and the entered text shows in the box. The only catch is that you need one text entry box per drag object.

I don´t know if it is possible to submit the text entry when the user clicks submit. I think the default setting is when the text entry box loses its focus.
