Compatibility with Edge

Microsoft Edge is not a special browser, it's a Chrome/Chromium Browser with an custom 'User Interface' - like Vivaldi,  Brave, Opera ...

but it may be that chrome and edge behave slightly differently in corporate networks, because the admin may have configured the two browsers differently with group policies
