Completion Settings

Oct 01, 2019

Hi,

I have a course published as a SCORM 1.2 file. The customer requested the following from me, and I just want to confirm these are LMS settings, not something I can necessarily control from Storyline.

2. The course window should automatically close when we click on the Mark complete button.

3. When we launch the course from the learning history, the Mark complete button should be in disable state and instructions must be provided that "You have already completed the course"

Thanks!

Hi Vanessa!

I'm happy to report both of these are quick fixes in Storyline! Don't worry; I'll walk you through both.

First, if you want the course to close, then you'll want to add a trigger. Here's what that trigger should look like.

Secondly, yes, there is a way to do that! You'll want to add a variable that says if all the questions are answered, then the user can't retake the course.
