Dear member of the Articulate Storyline team,
No enough space here to list the Storyline's qualities.
Perfection doesn't belong to our world and it is the first edition of the sofware.
but but but... it is frustrating to note the lack of :
- animated transitions for changes of state (like former Catalyst or next to come Edge).
- possibility to use from the freeform tool the objects located on layers ;
- possibility to use triggers with swf movies ;
- the possibility to pause and play the timelime and thanks to a dedicated action / button (SL and users deserve better conviviality than the trick of the pause through a layer) ;
- I don't mention the already pointed out (by fellows) : path animations tools since Articulate replied they are working hard on it.
Shame on me that I can't satisfy with this wonderful software.

Hi Fab, and thanks for posting. And you're right, the beauty of a version 1 product is that it's going to get even more amazing.
That said, we really appreciate what you're saying about the enhancements you'd like to see. Our development team loves to get feedback from the community, and the best way is to share your ideas is via this feature request page. The team looks at every single idea submitted, so it's a great way to make your voice heard. Feature requests are a really important consideration when we decide what enhancements to include in future versions. (In fact, a lot of the features you see in the current version of Storyline are a direct result of feedback we received from beta testers.)
