Hi, Michael -- Sorry to hear that you are experiencing this issue, and I can't say that I have come across that particular error message before. Can you please confirm that you are working locally? It may be helpful to review the information in this article, and also, have you tried to import the file into a new file to see if the same error occurs upon saving? 

One other thing we can try is running a repair of Storyline 2 as detailed here. Please let us know if issues persist, and we'll investigate further. :)
