Conditions for Slide with Audio and Hotspots

Aug 20, 2019

I have a slide that has audio introducing 5 topics. Each topic has a graphic with a hotspot. When the hotspot is clicked it jumps to a series of slides. The last slide in the series jumps back to the original slide when the next button is clicked. The user would then click the next hotspot, go through a series of slides, and back to the first (repeat for the remaining 3 topics/graphics). How can I create a condition that would have the audio only play the first time the slide is visited? Also, how can I prevent the user from advancing until all of the hotspots are selected? I was hoping to use states, but you can't use states on hotspots.

So my first suggestion would be to use buttons or images as the hotspots. If you use an image then you can add states to it and use the visited state to change the next button to normal.

As for the first question, you need to set the slide properties to be resume saved state, then it will resume the slide where you left it, which should be at the end of the audio.
