Conditions? Variables or Triggers? HELP!

Hi guys,

I've been working on this eLearning for a little bit now. In the earlier version I had used motion paths in order to toggle my switches on and off. I found those very tricky so I decided to use states instead.

I've got it working for the 1st button, but for some strange reason I can't get the functionality working for the other 4! It seems to be connected to the 1st one, regardless of what I do, even when I select each individual button and write in the trigger.

So, how do I get the toggle on and off function to work on the remaining 4 buttons, as well as ensure that my battery indicator levels also functions as items are toggled on and off?

I've attached the file i'm working on and it's getting quite confusing.
