I am making an e-learning demo for a convention that will be used by many learners in the span of 5-10 minutes one after the other. I'm trying to set the Home button on my slides to navigate to the home screen but to also reset all triggers and states so the content is fresh for the next user.

Add a 'Restart Course' trigger to your Home button.
