Conflict Management quiz
Nov 05, 2014
Hi all,
Has anyone replicated this type of quiz in storyline please? If so, any tips would be appreciated.
Please see the attachment for details - but in essence the user rates statements from 1-4 based on how often the statement applies to them. The results are then added up to see what type of management style applies to them.
Can this be done?
Many thanks, Sarah

Anyone? heeeeeeelp
Hi Sarah, the short answer is that yes this type of quiz can be done. You will have to create variables to capture and interpret the learners responses.
Thanks Nancy! :)
How do i go about creating variables please? I'm new to Storyline, my knowledge is more on captivate ..
Hi Sarah
have a look at this step-by-step tutorial on creating and working with variables.
Thank you Joanna that's really helpful
Glad that Joanna was able to assist you here Sarah :)
Hi Sarah, I created one example of this type of thing a long time ago but I over complicated the design so don't want to post it for fear of putting you on the wrong path. I think some other people posted similar examples that were cleaner than mine. I have lost my bookmarks now that we have moved to this new forum but you might want to try searching the forum to see what pops up.
I will do thank you Nancy! :)
Hi Leslie,
Nancy mentioned below that there may be some examples posted here somewhere - If you could point me in the direction of these i'd be grateful :)
Hmmm, not sure what examples Nancy is referring to, but this is the only one I found:
Short interactive scenario
Thanks Leslie, unfortunately the link to the module does not work for me.
I'm looking for more about getting the settings right for the quiz type im trying to replicate - using number triggers, as opposed to the actual content (conflict management) so not sure if that example is relevant, but Thank you x
Hmm, don't think that is it. Some community members posted examples in which they captured Responses to likert style questions and then cumulated the results.
Sorry I can't remember the details better.
Here is an example of one I did but when you take a look at it you will see there are a tone of triggers and variables - I remember other people coming up with a simpler solution.
Thank you for sharing that Nancy - Much appreciated :)
