Branching Quizzes

Feb 07, 2016

Hi guys,

I have a project that I am working on that has two branching quizzes, the user chooses which quiz applies to them (1 of the 2) and then to get a pass they need to get 70% on the quiz they chose. Does anyone have any idea how I can set this up?

Thanks
Dave

Hi Dave!

Wendy has shared a good reference for you and I see where you have reached out here as well.

This is not something that is available 'out of the box'. You can have the results of results as shown in this tutorial, but you will have to lower the passing score in order for this to work.

Hopefully someone in the community will be able to better assist you with this design.

I'm in the same boat as you, Dave. Although it hasn't been figured out, you can create a  "Pick one" slide where the user takes the quiz, then instead of going to a results slide, it can be a "Pick one" where you mimic the look of a results slide. From there you have a button that can say something like, "Click to submit score" - which would be the correct option for the "pick one." In this case, the user would have to pass the quiz with 100% in order to show the submit score button.

I hope this makes sense and helps you - here is the link to the discussion I am having.

Hi,

I have the same problem as Dave, my e-Learn has 3 branches depending on you job role, all have their own quiz, when the quiz is taken the LMS still displays In Progress after the e-learn has been completed. How can I create a branching e-Learn each with their own quiz and report back to the LMS? Is there another way to do this?

Thanks
