We are having issues with scores not being returned to our LMS once Storyline modules are complete. This is an ongoing issue, and I have reviewed the modules in depth. All questions are standard storyline quizzing formats.
Our host is Rustici, and they are unable to figure out what the issue are. Do you have any suggestions for troubleshooting? Is anyone else having similar issues?
For further information, we have some questions that allow for free form text that we are sending with the results so that they can be printed later from our LMS. The units with the free form text responses seem to have a much higher rate of issues.
Typically I'd suggest reviewing the troubleshooting steps here for tracking/reporting issues in your LMS, specifically testing at SCORM Cloud - which is connected to Rustici, so I'm not sure if that's where you're actually hosting your courses? What version of Storyline are you using, and what publish settings are you using (Scorm 1.2 or Scorm 2004)?
In regards to the "free form text" how have you set them up to report to your LMS? Are you using a method such as the one described here or are they actual question types (such as short answer or fill in the blank)?
If you continue to have difficulty, we'll likely need to take a look at the .story file and do some testing on our end as well.
Thank you for your speedy response. We are hosting our courses on SCORM Cloud. This course was created using Storyline 1. It is being published for an LMS in SCORM 2004.
The questions are short answer questions from the quizzing templates. The are not created using variables.

Hello Carrie Ann!
Would you be able to share the .story file here for us to do some testing?
