Converting ASL 2 files to 360 sound issues

Dec 17, 2018

Hi

I’m experiencing an issue with a few of our older SCORM files that were created on ASL2.

Our E-learning provider has identified that the sound files somehow got corrupted (from being authored on ASL2). How do we stop this from happening and can we save the audio files somehow?

Thanks

Mike

Hi there, Mike.  It sounds like the audio files are not working when you upgrade the project from Storyline 2 to Storyline 360.  Is that accurate?

You can export the audio in the Storyline 2 version of the file.  Once you have the independent audio file, try inserting it directly into the Storyline 360 version of the course.  When working with any of your files, be sure they're saved locally on the C: drive.
