I am researching the feasability of converting existing Articulate Studio (which contains interactive Captivates) to Storyline so that the course can play on iPad. The client does not want to wait for Studio 13.
I don't know much about Captivate; my question is: Can I covert Captivate into Storyline maintaining the clickablillty on the Captivate?
Also, you mentioned you plan on playing this course on the iPad. One thing I want to echo from that article is that Captivate content will not work in HTML5 or the Articulate Mobile Player. For a full comparison of Storyline's Flash, HTML5, and Articulate Mobile Player output, click here. (If you insert your Captivate movie as a web object, it'll work in HTML5 output that is viewed in Google Chrome or desktop Safari. However, it will not work in mobile Safari or the Articulate Mobile Player for iPad.)
An alternative may be to create a screen recording of the Captivate content in Storyline. Not sure if this would work well for you, but might be something to consider.
