Course does not progress when interaction completes

Jun 18, 2018

On the third slide of our course, we have a pyramid interaction. We would like this interaction to start with the bottom level before progressing to the next slide after viewing all levels.

When we have the pyramid interaction set up in this way, the user cannot progress to the next slide after the interaction completes (V.2 of both course and interaction files, attached)

Only if the interaction is setup to begin with the top level is the user allowed to move to the next slide (original files).

Is there something in the interaction or course itself that needs to be fixed, or is this a bug?

Hi Mike,

Sorry for this odd behavior you've run into! I'm seeing something similar testing your files, and I saw that our team is investigating a similar behavior.

I wanted to confirm, did you create this initially in Articulate 360 or was it something you created first in Storyline 2 + Engage '13?

I did notice within your interaction properties that your learners can click on the pyramid in any order, so perhaps it's not as crucial for them to go bottom to top? Since the top down approach worked for you, I would suggest using that set up until our team identifies the issue.

I'll keep you posted here!
