I was trying to copy/paste a slide from one Storyline file into another. This caused the destination file to crash.
Normally this wouldn't be a big deal as I'm a "save early & save often" kinda guy. However, this time when I reopened the file, the saved file had reverted to the last time I had saved-and-exited-storyline, not just the last time I saved.
Anyone else experience this before, a file reverting to a previous save?
Really sorry that happened. We'd be interested in checking out your file to see if we can find something that may have caused it. Would you be willing to open a case and submit it to our support team for review? Thanks!
Hi Peter, I could open a case, but unfortunately, the training I'm working on contains confidential information that isn't allowed to leave the company servers.
I really don't have the file to send anymore because of the crash. The file I currently have is the last saved-then-exited-storyline file, which seems to be working okay.

The file, prior to crashing, had a lot of screen recordings in it, which I have noticed can be a bit buggy.
Gotcha, Ira. Sorry again about that. We're working really hard to improve the way screen recordings are handled, including copying / importing them into new projects, and we're eager to roll out our next Update which shouldn't be too far away. I'll keep you posted
