Creating a rectangle tab with an arrow

Jan 24, 2017

Hi,

I'm playing with this free accordion template, but I've run into an issue I can't figure out. The arrow that is attached to the tab (rectangle shape) is not selectable (I've looked in the master, etc). It seems to have a special positioning which I don't understand. The link to the template is here: https://blogs.articulate.com/word-of-mouth/free-accordion-template-for-articulate-storyline/

Help would be appreciated!

Greetings, I have imported templates on several occasions, however what this is supposed to do, it is not.  Will you please help.  I have tried in several different projects to no avail.  I was wondering if there is an update I am missing?

This is what supposed to be able to happen, but not.

  • Resource tab does not bring up resources (resources are there)
  • Menu button doesn’t bring up menu or it brings it up on the left where I have not requested it to. Also, sometimes it either does not open OR it goes to an unassigned page.
  • Contact tab takes to next page (lightbox slide, Slide 1.5, does not open)
  • User should be able to click next/prev on all slides except 1.1 and 1.4

As you can see I have the correct triggers.

Thank you for your help.

Hi, Sharria.

Thank you for sharing your .story file!

I noticed your menu items were duplicated in the Player:

Windows 10 (1) 2021-08-05 at 10.23.33 AM

I created a short (2m30s) Peek 360 recording showing you how to fix the issues you mentioned above.

I am also attaching the edited .story file.

Let me know if this works!

Thanks, Sharria. There have been a couple of different conversations here, but the reply directly for you was from Maria, and I'll link it here.

Your last reply included your email signature, so I fear that you may view this content in your email instead of clicking back into the forums. Be sure to click 'View' vs. 'Reply' when you get this.

Maria's link above works for me. If it's not working for you, you may need to have your network admin open port 443 and add the domains in this article to your organization's allowlist for your Articulate 360 apps to work properly.
