Cue Number and Timeline

Jan 27, 2020

Hi there,

I often use cue points to advance my slides when needed. However, I notice that if I go back and add to the slide, whether it's graphics or text, that the Timeline does not keep the length set to where I placed them. The Cue Point doesn't change, but the timeline expands past where it was set at the Cue Point.

This can be very annoying. Is there a setting that I can use to prevent the Timeline from stretching out more than it was originally set to?

See example.

Hi JC,

Thanks for contacting us to share what you are experiencing with your cue point and timeline.

It's hard to tell from the image, so I'm curious where the cue point was previously?

If you copy/paste from another slide, the timeline of the object will come with it and audio/video content can extend the timeline as well, but I'm not aware of it affecting the defined cue point.

Please share the steps to replicate or record a short screencast and I'd be happy to take a look at what's happening here.
