Hi! We have a Storyline file where we have inserted an MP4-video. When previewing the slide and hovering the cursor over the video, it suddenly changes into hand view. There are no hotspots or triggers inserted on the slide, neither in the master slide. This both appears for modern and classic player. Does anyone experience the same problem and knows a solution?
Thanks. We did that as a work-around but havn't experienced this issue before. Normally, when inserting a video and setting it to play automatically on slide entry, doesn't let the cursor change to hand view when hovering over the video.
That's fine, Thomas. I was only pointing out to this option where the cursor will not change into hand view. You wont need any trigger when "Play video - When triggered' is selected. You can still play or pause the video with the video controls - the cursor will not change. If the video starts automatically you should have the video controls turned on, and the cursor will not change. That's at least what I see in my project. I can reproduce your issue only when the video starts automatically with the video controls set to "none" while the video options are set to "Automatically" or "When clicked".

When setting the video to be played "Automatically" - as we've always done - it shouldn't be necessary to mark the play control "When triggered" and needing to insert a trigger in order to eliminate a cursor state change. We've never seen this before. There's certainly something wrong and maybe Articulate will look into that issue. Have a good day.

That’s likely because clicking on the video will pause it. Try covering the video with a filled shape with the transparency set to 98%.

Cursor will not change into hand view only when "Play Video when triggered" is selected in Video options.
