I attempted to create a simple course menu using the slide master and variables. It functions, however, when a user navigates to a section from selecting the section from the menu and once there clicks the menu again it opens but closes immediately - so something appears to be off. Any idea what could be causing the menu to close as soon as it is opened. This only happens when the user jumps to slides from the menu and does not when navigating via the previous and next buttons.
Perhaps the edges around your menu items have "tiny" gaps that are allowing your close triggers to occur too quickly? We'd need to see your story (a stripped down version is fine) to comment specifically.
