Custom Glossary

Try this approach. I only set up "A" and "B", but you get the idea. This approach really simplifies adding new terms.

I also made the "A1", "A2", etc textboxes into a button group, so only one at a time shows as selected.

Hi Walt thank you for simplifying this for me. I have another question. If I were to keep the definitions all in a list on the right hand side would there be an easy way to display these so that it would appear that it was jumping to a term lower in the list and have the list scroll up?

I also wanted to find out if I could place all of the terms and definitions in a text file and pull it into Storyline using Javascript. Has anyone ever tried this?

Javascript to me always seems to be able to fix all things, so I'd suggest giving it a try! You may want to take a look at the Javascript best practices here as it's not something our team can offer support for. 

Thanks for responding Ashley. I will take look at the Javascript post. Do you know if there is a way currently to pull the built in glossary from the player template into a slide within Storyline?

Interesting idea to pull it into a slide itself. Definitely not an idea
that rings a bell from within the ELH community though.
