I need to outline the wrong answer after the first attempt so the user can pick another answer in the next attempt. I have the built in Drop incorrect state set up for all of the answers and had the delay item drop states until the interaction submitted. Here I have 4 options out of which the student has to select only 2 correct options on 2 hot spots. The other 2 options are dummy options.
Drop Incorrect state is displayed even if the user does not drag that item(dummy item)

The "customer", "specific" options are wrong choices and they should be outlined in red if they are dropped on the any hotspots. but they are out lined red even if they are not touched by the student. I have tried custom states and triggers . None of them seem to work.
Thanks for sharing that file here with us! I took a look and saw what you were describing, but oddly enough couldn't replicate it in my own files. I'd like to have our Support team take a look at your copy and see if the spot something.
