Customize Next Button on last slide in the player

Oct 16, 2014

Hi

I am trying to customize the button on the player to say Close instead of Next. Anyone know how to do this?

Thanks!

Hi Jane,

There isn't a way to change the text on the next button for one slide only - but if you're not using the built in submit button anywhere else, you could use that as an alternative. You can change the text within the player text labels and then set up a trigger associated with it.

Otherwise, you may want to look into using a player tab to allow the user to exit the course or a custom button on the slide itself.

Hope that helps!

Why is that a better solution than setting a trigger to exit course when timeline ends?

Because the user might not realise the course has closed itself and see it as a bug. I do think exiting a course should be an event controlled by the user and not happen automatically, they may not want to leave at that point.
