Ooof. It's been quite a week for me. I needed this problem like a hole in the head.
I'm trying to make input objects that look really clean and minimalist - no gradients or other nonsense. So I've made some that are just black on white (or invisible I guess, on a white background).
I've changed the checkboxes, and now that I've done so, when I preview a question slide, it changes the check color to white once I've selected that option. This is not reflected in the button state. In the Selected state, it should be black.
I get how frustrating it can be. See the attached where I can get the check mark to be black but the corresponding border changes to white. I've played around with a few options (changing the colour of the border and checkmark to black) but seems like it's one or the other border black or checkmark black. Sometimes this is tied to the theme colours you are using and SL doesn't always like to override. Anyway maybe this Peek video will help you get to something that you can use.
Thanks for the help. I really wanted to fully customize the buttons but I
can make do with defaults. I was more frustrated because I already authored
this entire training in another tool and they had a bug that broke all
their trainings, forcing me to remake this in a short amount of time.

Hi Marshall

Again, thanks for the help.
