Data error message

Hi. I am trying to save a Storyline 360 project to a new location. It is currently on my local drive but I need to save a copy to our network as a backup. When I try copying the file or "save as" I get the following message:
data error (cyclic redundancy check)
I have no idea what this means or how to fix. I have 13 projects that I need to back up and I am afraid this is going to happen to all of them. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Are you using file explorer (the Windows file folder thingy) to copy?
Do you get the same error with both the file explorer copy function and the SL Save As?
Hi. Yes, I tried both using Windows Explorer to copy the file as well as "save as" while in the project. *sigh*
Thanks for chiming in.
Hi Adena,
Sorry you're hitting this error! It's not one I've seen before. Have you tried saving any of the other projects yet? If so, did you hit the same error with those?
Hi Adena,
I'm glad you're saving locally first, and then trying to backup on your network - as that's one of our best practices to prevent corruption!
I haven't seen that error message before for Storyline files, so I took to google quick and found that error message may be an issue with your Windows set up. You may want to follow along with the steps here and engage the help of your IT team!
I hope that helps!
Alyssa and Ashley,
Thank you for checking in on this. I had no issues with any of the other files so that is great,
Ashley, I super appreciate your asking google and I will definitely work with my IT folks on it.
Thank you again!!
Happy to help anytime, Adena!
