Degradation of outputted material

Oct 30, 2012

I have noticed that when publishing or exporting to Word the quality of the output is significantly lower than what the slides show.  I'm not sure why Storyline does this but is there a way to increase the quality of the output, this renders my work useless for class room handouts, if not is there a way to export my slides back into PowerPoint.

Welcome to Heroes, Eric!

Thanks for posting. This is currently a known issue in Storyline when publishing projects to Word. Images produced are of low quality, and you can only select the size of the screenshot to either Medium or Large, but can't change quality setting for the images. If your file is set to publish Medium screenshots, you can try selecting Large screenshots to create larger images in the published Word document to see if it makes a noticeable improvement.

Our Quality Assurance team is already aware of this issue, and are investigating ways to improve it. Unfortunately, we can't offer a time frame for when or if this issue will be addressed.

I'll update the thread once we receive any further information or updates regarding this issue.
