Developing for i-Pad
May 12, 2013
Hi All,
My latest project is to develop training for i-pad. Does anyone have a set of guidelines I can use?
For example:
- What should the screen resolution be?
- How do the interactions work? Is there page slide? Does clicking automatically become tap?
- What Storyline interactions work best?
- How does the Quiz work with radio buttons? Aren't they too small?
Any help or samples would be great.
Thanks all!
Nat.

Hi Natalie,
Here is a link that shows what items work with iOS publishing:

Here are the suggested screen resolutions:

Below are a few examples of quizzes/courses that are published for iOS (You will need the Articulate Mobile Player installed on your iPad to view these) that you can view to test out how the user can interact with courses on a tablet:
Hope this helps!
Thanks!
The mapping will come in handy.
