You can use a trigger to disable the Next button the first time the user visits the slide, a trigger to enable the Next button when the audio completes, and a variable to track when that's done, so that a condition on the disabling trigger will ensure that only happens the first time the user visits the slide.
Thank you for your response. I was able to update the menu settings to restricted but since I have custom next and back buttons on the slide and not checked buttons already built-in storyline this setting will not work.
If you aren't using the built-in NEXT button, you'll have to create triggers to control your custom NEXT button. The demo file in the post I linked to in the earlier comment also shows that type of trigger.
