I have created my first course in Storyline and it looks good in the preview. But when I publish to web some of my shapes are gone in one of the slides. I have tried to change them, remove them, add new ones, but they are still not in the published version - only in the preview. Any ideas?
The first thing I would do is make sure that you're working on your local drive with all your project files. This goes for the Storyline project files, as well as the images and other media you add into the course.
1. Work on your local drive (your C: drive). Working on a network drive or a USB drive can cause erratic behavior, including file corruption, loss of audio, and other unexpected behavior.
2. You should also make sure the directory path to your project files and your published output is less than 260 characters (for example C:\Articulate).
3. Avoid using special characters, accents or symbols in your file names.
If you're able to share your .story file here we'd be happy to test it as well, and if you'd prefer not to share in the forums you can send it to us here.
The chinese text within your title should be ok, unless your text is publishing incorrectly, but I was referring more to the file name for your .story file.
I'm glad you were able to figure it out with block arrows, but if you'd like us to take a look at what's happening you're welcome to share it here with our team. Rick, if you're having difficulty too, please feel free to share your file there as well.

Thanks.
It was mainly lines and arrows that disappeared in some of the slides, but I have fixed it for now by exchanging them with block arrows.
You're writing that special characters can be an issue - my course is in Chinese, so the title is as well. Can that be a problem?
Seems I have the same issue with arrows that dissappear.
