I have a Storyline 2 question, if anyone can help I'd be very grateful.
I guess I'm missing something basic here but I have a data entry field on one slide and I want to display the content of this field on another slide. On the display slide, I've added a text box which contains the variable name from the data entry field. "%Exercise_answer%" . The variable content IS being displayed but is squished into one line of text, almost in picture form. (Data entry field contains multiple lines rather than a single line.) Can anyone help? What have I done wrong?
Hi, it fits the text that is typed into the size of the box on the next slide - so the target box doesn't grow to fit the available text. The way I get around it is to go to the target box, open up the Format menu, click on Format shape, then Text Box, click on 'Do not autofit' and close, then resize the target box to be of a size that will accommodate the maximum amount of text you think someone would put in.
