I'm probably being a bit dim here but having just upgraded to Storyline 2 from Storyline 1 I need to be able to distinguish in Windows Explorer my existing Storyline 1 .story files from the Storyline 2 .story files I'm creating. What am I missing here?
There isn't a way to do this - as the icons and the file extensions will look the same. I typically now include SL1 or SL2 at the end of my file names to help easily distinguish - or if you open a file in the new/older version you'll either receive a message about not being able to open it as it was created in a newer version of Storyline or a message to upgrade the file to SL2 and that a SL1 back up will be created.

I don't think there is anyway visually to do this, only try opening one

OK thanks for this: I thought I was missing something obvious......
There ought to be some way of doing this without changing the filename though, don't you think? - it'll be really easy to get confused.
Hi Andrew,
I know a few people who have submitted feature requests for a different behavior, so you may want to also share your thoughts with our team.
