I need to know how I can download PDF from storyline. I don´t want to add pdfs as resources. I need learners to be able to click a button and download a PDF file from the slide, i've used the trigger "open when..." but whenever I publish the SCORM I get an error message when they click on the link.
I´m sure I´m missing a step before publishing SCORM and it could be a problem related to where pdfs are located at my computer.
Out of curiosity, do you get the same error message if you were to add this document to the resources section in the player? Storyline stores these files in the same folder when published.
A PDF is a computer file that is physically located on a computer somewhere. If your learners are going to download it. It must be someplace they can access.
If you will include it in the resources, Storyline will package it as part of the published output, and anybody that can access the course can download it. If not, it has to be put someplace where they all have access to it, or they can’t download it.
I really think you want them downloading it from the LMS, and not trying to access your computer.
