I personally haven't run into any difficulty, and the limited users who have mentioned similar were able to open them by ensuring the file type was set to .story while looking at the file in their downloads folder. Does the page of code appear in your browser?
Yes, when I try to download a .story file from the Community pages, at least
old ones, I get a page of jumbled code in the browser. This didn't happen
until the pages were updated/revised.
I'm really not able to download. When I click the download button, I get the
same jumble of code. This applies to .story files that are from older posts
- several years - not recent ones.

Any ideas?
Thanks,

Hi Ken
after you have downloaded the file, can you right click and select open with SL1 or SL2 does that work- rather than doubleclicking to open it.
Is it one particular browser?

Hello Ken,
It may have something to do with the new site. Do you have a link handy of an older thread you are trying to download from?
