Drag and Drop decoy states

I've created a drag and drop interaction and have one item that's a decoy (it shouldn't be dragged to either target). I've set its states just as I set the other items (to turn green if correct or red if incorrect) thinking that if the learner doesn't drag the object to a target that it would turn green and if they do it would turn red, however regardless of where this decoy is dragged it stays blue (its 'normal' state).
Any ideas what I'm doing incorrectly?

Hi Nadia,
Can you share your .story file here, so we can take a look at what you have so far?
Thanks!
Christine
I think you need to add triggers to make that bit work
Thanks for getting back to me!
Attached is my file. I have the states set according to what I would assume would give me the desired results. I get the concept of triggers but I guess i'm not certain how I'd use them in this case.
Thanks so much,
Nadia
Hi Nadia,
I took a look at the file and added a trigger that changes the state of the decoy to the red "incorrect" state if it is placed on either drop target. Let me know if this works for you
Thanks!
Christine
Thanks so much Christine! Now I see what you guys were talking about above.
Much appreciated,
Nadia
You're quite welcome Nadia I'm happy that's working out for you.
