Drag and Drop: dragging correct amount of items to target

Aug 24, 2014

Hello,

i am am trying to make an interactive game where the student will have to drag the correct amount of tablets into a medication cup ( target). All the tablets should be dragable but the point is to calculate the correct dose and click submit to see if you placed the correct amount in the medication cup. If the student places too little or too much a incorrect box will appear, if the student places the correct amount a correct box will appear.

I am new to storyline and have no idea how to do this. I tried convert to free form... But it won't allow me to create a game where the purpose is the amount of objects placed in target not just dragging objects to a desired target.

If someone could help, I would strongly appreciate it.

Thanks,

Good Morning Jenna, and welcome to Heroes!

Although others in the community may have specific ideas, I would encourage you to take a look at David's Beyond the Basic Drag-and-Drop Interaction blog post. There, you'll find tons of links to creative ideas, including a tutorial on using Storyline’s variables to count the number of times the quarter is dragged over an object.

Good luck with your project, and have a great day!
