drag and drop not allowing retry

Oct 08, 2014

Hello. I have set up a drag and drop which id labelling of a human cell. there are 20 labels and 20 numbers to drop on. when they complete the task incorrectly and hit the submit button the, the incorrect warning comes saying it is incorrect which is great but how do I make it so they can retry the task. when I go to move the drags they are frozen and wont move. I want my student to complete the task correctly before progressing to the next slide so they need to keep trying

Thank you. that was extremely helpful. Will you be producing a manual to be downloaded. I find it frustrating when there is a glitch and you have no on hand way of determining the problem.

Also I would like to know if there is a way to set up a quiz were the final score is recorded and not able to be manipulated by the student (assessment task).

it would be ideal for the final mark to be linked to a spread sheet which can be set up on a secure site. I want to make some after workshop assessment quizzes where the mark goes towards the students final assessment make and I want to make it one try with no wayfor the student to alter their final mark

Hi Garth!

We have a manual here for Storyline if that's what you're asking.

As far as tracking your quiz:

Storyline is designed primarily as an elearning development tool to be used in conjunction with Articulate Online or your own Learning Management System (LMS).

For the best results and most accurate reporting, we recommend using Articulate Online.

Any LMS that is compliant with SCORM, AICC, or Tin Can API will also provide accurate tracking capabilities. Here are some open-source LMS options that may meet your tracking needs:

* Dokeos:http://campus.dokeos.com/

* eFront:http://www.efrontlearning.net/open-source

* Moodle:http://moodle.org/

Tracking results in a text file or database is not supported. If you'd like to track your Storyline content without an LMS, perhaps a community member will be able to assist you here.
