Drag and Drop not working properly

I have a drag and drop function that is not working properly. It could be how I designed the .story, or a function of drag and drop.
When the user is to drag and drop a labeled box into the dotted area, it is supposed to change transparent (so the user can see the word or phrase). However, does not always work.
When the user takes the labeled box and moves it DIRECTLY inside the dotted area, the labeled box does not change transparent. When the user takes the labeled box and moves it anywhere BUT inside the dotted area, the box changes transparent.
I have attached the directions slide, along with one example to better show my issue.
Thanks for any help!!

Hi Evan,
Thanks for sharing your file - I took a look, and the behavior you mentioned, I'm able to reproduce it inconsistently. Sometimes when I dorp it directly inside the dotted lines, it changes, and sometimes it doesn't. I've tried it in a few different orders/combinations to see if there was a particular pattern and I wasn't able to determine one. I then took a look at your drop shapes and saw that they were set to not have a fill - which would make the drop shape, the rectangle itself, not necessarily the inside. So what I did was change the dropped shapes to have a 98% transparency solid fill, of a light grey as it seemed to match your background so it would blend in. Once I did that, everything would change the transparency when I dropped within the dotted line and if it was dropped on the line itself.
I've attached the example I worked on with the change, can you take a look and let me know if you still have difficulty.
AWESOME...thanks Ashley! I do feel its quite humorous how something so small can affect the big picture.
The only thing I see that is somewhat bizarre is the "to donate" drop area. When I drop any of the labeled boxes into that drop area, the labeled box snaps to center. All the other drop areas are considered "free". Any reason why that is happening?
Thanks again for the help on this, as it worked like it should!

Ashley-
Don't worry about answering my previous question. I fixed everything to "Snap to Center". No idea why it was doing "Free" for some of the drop areas. I appreciate all the help!
It's often the little things in Storyline, so I'm glad I was able to help - and glad you were able to figure out the "snap to center" on your drop targets too!

Couldn't you just put a hot spot within the shape and make that the drop zone instead of trying to sync the 98% transparency of the fill to that of the dropped object?
Hi Walter,
You could certainly use a hotspot instead of changing the transparency, but I guess it's a judgement call on what you'd prefer to do. I felt like the transparency looked good with the set up without much changing.
