There are 9 text boxes and a TRUE and FALSE drop zone. The user drags the text to either one of the boxes. I have this working BUT I have run into an issue where it only allowing the user to drop the correct text box on the correct drop zone - it wont let them drop the text into the wrong text box which is pointless as far as testing goes.
I wonder if someone would have a moment to look over this simple quiz slide and let me know if there is something I am missing so the text boxes can be dropped on either of the drop zones.
I'm not sure why you are using a trick drag and drop (secretly built on top of a multiple choice question) when a standard drag drop question works the way I think you want.
Here is your story with a second slide added using the exact same elements in a normal drag n drop question.
Thanks Jerry! I was following an old thread where someone asked if Storyline allowed for multiple drop zones, and at that time I guess - it wasn't possible - so I followed the work around.
Thank you for showing me the correct way to create this!
But to be fair, people do come up with ideas for an interaction/question that doesn't fit into one of the main types. In that situation, your workaround is the way to go.
You can create any sort of onscreen experience you want on top of a TRUE/FALSE or MC question (like you did) and then set the underlying question to "correct" with triggers of your own design that occur right before the submit event. ;)
I was wondering if anyone could tell me how to get the snap to center to work on both the TRUE and FALSE button - currently it works on the TRUE button but not on the false. Any ideas why that would be?
I have tried this but it didn't seem to make a difference as far as dropping the items in the "False" drop zone. It's like it only recognizes the "True" box as a drop zone.
I deleted your pictures and replaced them with two standard Articulate shapes with the words typed directly into the shape. It seems to work this way. Must be some hidden corruption on the imported PNG files you had.
Hi, I have followed all the steps in the previous threads about being able to drop one object on several targets that may be correct without success as the feedback is always incorrect even when I have answered the quiz correctly. I wonder if you would have a moment to look over my quiz slide and let me know if there is something I am missing so the text boxes can be dropped on any of the correct drop zones in order to give me the correct feedback once completed?
Thank you for including your file! I noticed some of the triggers needed to be rearranged to have the state be "drop correct". Take a look at this file and let me know what you think!

Under the drag and drop options, try turning on the check box for
[x] Return items to starting point if dropped outside: any drop target.

Thanks a lot! That worked.
