I'm using a drag and drop quiz with five items that need to be matched. The blocks seem to bounce away from each other when a question is answered if the user attempts to fit the blocks together (with the peg and slot shape) rather than drop the answer on top of a block.
It works fine if an answer block is dropped on top of a statement block.
Can anyone lend some expertise as to why this might be happening?
Per our security policies, I cannot send you our SL file where the issue occurred on the drag and drop question. Do you have any suggestions of where to search on slide settings?

I fully understand the security issues. Unfortunately, without having a better idea of what your slide looks like, I can only have a stab at a possible solution.
If your Drag and Drop has been set up as a graded question, I cannot offer a solution. However, if it has been set up as a freeform question then you need to check the Drag and Drop Options (this option will only be available for a freeform question):
If you open the options dialogue box, you will see that there is an option to Return item to start point if dropped outside. Make sure that this is not checked as it maybe causing your answers to bounce back, if they are not dropped on top of the statement block.

Hi Marji,
Are you able to post a copy of your SL file here as that would be a big help in solving your problem?
