Not sure if this will help you but if you have an off screen correct and incorrect item and set the slide up as a pick one. Use this to calculate any number of actions that when performed, select the correct item before the interaction is submitted.
See attached basic example where the drag item can be placed on either of the drop targets to get it right. Obviously extend it to take care of the incorrect status.
This discussion is on a different topic, but the attached sample was designed to do exactly what you are asking. You can make the fill on the large oval transparent, it that fits your design needs, but you can't delete it.
I have done this on a couple slides. I delete the Incorrect layer and make a copy of the Correct layer. Rename the copy Incorrect and it doesn't mater what the result of the drag and drop answer is, the participant will see that they are correct.
