Drag and Drop text box state

Hi everyone,

We have a puzzling issue with some text boxes which are part of a drag and drop activity. When dragged to the correct spot, the text box state changes . The issue is, once the state changes, the text  (informal discussions) leaps out of the box and sits far from the actual text box. There's also a small + sign that appears... what does it symbolize?  Any ideas?
