Drag and drop using Storyline

Feb 06, 2013

Hi,

Am using drag and drop interactivity using "Convert to Freeform" feature. I have give two attempts to the activity. Now what I want is that after the first attempt, when the user click "Try Again" in the feedback box, I want all the shapes to come on top, as if the user is going to start the activity again. Kindly tell me which function I should edit to get it right.

Regards,

Manika

Hi Manika and Nigel,

I'm not sure if that link (http://community.articulate.com/forums/p/12812/78830.aspx )  shows how to do a reset with the Try again layer.

So, just in case, I thought I'd throw out a link to this Drag and drop attempts thread where I'd uploaded a story that does just that. And there's other discussion there as well that may be helpful.

Hi Nigel and Rebecca,

I was just looking at your samples in "Drag and drop attempts" page, here i could see that all the samples had "Layer trigger" but when i checked in mine, I do not have "Layer Trigger" but in mine, I have only the "Object trigger". Am I doing something wrong?

Find attached the file.

Hi Manika,

This Layer Trigger is created by you. So you first click on the Try Again layer, as you've done. Once there, click the new trigger button

and set things up so that:

Action: Show layer

Layer: Incorrect

When: timeline starts

Object: try again

Then click the Show Conditions link, click the plus sign (+), and add the condition
