I created a drag and drop question with unlimited attempts, and they return to the original position if they are dragged incorrectly. The problem is that when taking another attempt, sometiemes some drag elements move to any drop places with no reason when dragging another element.
We have a bug reported when using the Tile or Stack drop options for Drag items in drag and drop interaction act erratically in succeeding attempts if the drag items have motion path.
Your project seemed to work as expected when I switched it to Snap to Center.
