drop down menu malfunctioning

I followed this tutorial to create a drop down menu

I'm playing with 3 layers atm. the question with the menu is on an overlay layer and the opened menu is on a new layer.

when i hover the closed menu rectangle the menu opens.

however as i hover the opened menu the menu flickers when i make the comment "hide this layer when mouse hover over the rectangle".

there is nothing else that causes it to hide and if it isn't hiding, the menu remains visible.

 

is there a new known issue with hover out?

Hi Lior!

I'm happy to help! It sounds like when you're hovering over the transparent shape, the menu appears. 

  • Have you moved the transparent shape to the back?
  • Have you added all of the triggers shared in the tutorial?
  • Lastly, which version of Storyline are you using?
